MGHonor Farms
Clint Brauer at MGHonor Farms honored his grandma when he named his farm business. "’MG’ was my grandma. She lived a very simple life and was highly regarded in the community for her ability to endlessly give of her time, talent and treasure. Simply put, she lived her faith.”1
Health is the driving force for many creative ideas at MGHonor Farms. “As it has been said, the one thing most folks would give up everything else for...is good health. As a society we have forgotten that in the rampant quest for "stuff".1 MGHonor Farms was created to help those who have realized their true priorities, have an option to purchase healthy food for themselves and their families without any herbicides and only organically certified pesticides.”1
MGHonor Farms offers a Members Only Program where you can grow your own vegetables and a members’ price on grass-fed lamb grown onsite. Another option is Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) to obtain their vegetables and herbs.2
Yet another creative effort associated with MGHonor Farms is Greenfield Robotics. As an alternative to chemical control, Greenfield Robotics uses robots to remove weeds in row crop fields.4 Greenfield Robotics was named one of the top 10 startups in Kansas (Mug News, February 11, 2021).3
Grandma “MG” would be proud.
